Bike to Work/School Events

Bike to Work/School Day provides a free breakfast and great prizes for cyclists throughout Santa Cruz County twice a year - once in May and again in October.

Each year, over a dozen public sites and more than twenty schools offer a yummy breakfast to cyclists. In 2007, over 9,000 people participated in Bike to Work/School Day in Santa Cruz County. The mission of Bike to Work/School is to get people hooked on bicycling as transportation through fun and informative events. It’s a great time for those who don’t bike to give it a try!
